Project: I’ve enjoyed learning animation but hadn’t needed to create anything professionally prior to 2014. I needed to come up with something to help fill out the award catalog page of a company’s website. In the past there were pictures of real items, but this didn’t really fit in with the company branding any longer. I thought of a mini-commercial that could be used on the website and also across social media to help promote brand awareness.
Timeline: I started this project in February 2014 and finished it in March 2014.
Results: An A/B test was created with this animation video for half of visitors, the other half saw the video below. The test is still running to find out which page produced more conversions, but the animation above has induced people to stay on the page longer than the one below.
