I have managed two separate Google AdWords accounts for employers. Each had different goals, budgets and target audiences.
Google Display Ads
Project: Create new display ads for a re-marketing campaign. It would target people who have visited our website but not taken any action (looked at the menu, placed an order, filled out a form).
Results: The ads generated 200 clicks per day, increasing foot traffic and online requests for more information.
Google Text Ads
Project: Write all new ad creative, develop new ad campaigns and ad groups, determine landing page for each group, analyze keywords and remove/add keywords in each ad group.
Timeline: Project was assigned in January 2010 and completed on March 11, 2010.
Results: New PPC campaigns boosted click through rates and conversions. Keyword improvement resulted in new sales opportunities and better ad spend.
